Steve and Jo are "Past Alive".

Our work in schools nationwide, spans 35 years of Living History educational experience. Thousands of students of all ages, have enjoyed our method of bringing the Past Alive.

Over the years, we have built reproductions of dwellings, spanning 25,000 years of building practice, then we've lived in them, through the winter!

We farm ancient breeds of cattle, sheep, fowl etc, using our own wool for handmade textiles.

Sailing on ancient warships, practicing survival skills, collecting the eggs from the hen shed, we bring the Past Alive, and it's FUN!

Now at Wells E.S.C.A.P.E. we believe that our vision of the past gives visitors a unique insight into the lost Eceni Tribe. All that is known of them today has been brought together into this one place. Come along and empathise with the ancestors
